Max Travis, is the owner and creative brilliance behind Damashii Customs. Max was born, raised and is currently located in Orange County, Virginia. Max’s passion for mechanics and trades began at a young age. As his skills, experience and passion continued to grow, he began to focus on vintage motorcycles. 

Customizing motorcycles combines Max’s talent for mechanics and true love and passion for creativity. His vision and values for Damashii Customs is born out an obsession for the details and craftsmanship which clearly shows with his builds. Max’s builds are focused on balancing eye appeal, rideability and function while improving performance and reliability. Max’s mechanical skills include fabrication, welding, painting, body work, wiring, carburetor tuning, designing and machining.

Damashii Customs are captivatingly crafted motorcycles that truly encompass the Damashii 魂 meaning of spirit or soul. The motorcycles are hand selected and meet our standards before the build and customizing vision starts. The vintage motorcycles are brought back to life for the long haul and modernized. Each build is unique and tries to push the creative boundaries. Damashii Customs are more than exceptional and unique motorcycles, they represent fun, art, attitude and freedom. Max also works as a motorcycle mechanic at The Cycle Center located in Culpeper, Virginia, with owner, Charlie Lacy.
